Wetlands

When a large tsunami occurs, earth and sand are swirled up by a tremendous stream of water, causing the ground to be washed, which can lead to damage, for example, many houses and buildings were brought down and washed away.
The tsunami that occurred during the Great East Japan Earthquake destroyed the Hibarino coastal dykes. From the destroyed site, a tsunami hit the due north of a concrete building, and a wetland appeared where the ground was washed. When the Reconstruction Memorial Park was constructed, this Senkutsu Shicchi (Wetlands ) was preserved as the remains of the earthquake disaster that shows the threat of the tsunami that struck this area.
